MINOT - Minot High continued its unbeaten streak with a 6-3 victory over Minot North, improving to 3-0 in the Western Dakota Association and 8-0 overall. Minot North fell to 0-2 in the conference and 4-4 overall.
Nolan Moore led the charge for Minot High with a win at No. 1 singles. Connor Ressler also secured a victory at No. 2 singles. The duo combined their strengths to triumph at No. 1 doubles, further solidifying their team's dominance.
Minot North showcased talent with Lucas Griffith earning a win at No. 3 singles and Macsen Knittel prevailing at No. 5 singles. These performances were bright spots for the team despite the overall outcome.
Looking ahead, Minot High will face Bismarck, who currently holds a 1-2 conference record, on September 8. Minot North will prepare to take on Legacy, standing at 2-0 in the WDA, also on September 8.
