VALLEY CITY - The Mandan Braves continued their impressive run with a 4-1 victory over Valley City on Sept. 11. Two of the Braves' wins came in straight sets, but two more went the distance.
Jared Christen continued is dominance at No. 1 singles, not dropping game in his victory for the Braves. Brandon Johnson earned a two-set triumph at No. 3 singles. Ben Sayler battled for a three-set win at No. 2 singles. In doubles play, Donaven Birdine and Eli Kleinknecht was tested at No. 2 doubles, but managed a win in a super set. Valley City earned a win in three sets at No 1 doubles (Quin Kruger-Andrew Hoff). Mandan stayed unbeaten with the win.
