MANDAN - The Mandan Braves continued their unbeaten streak with an 8-1 victory over EDC perennial power West Fargo Sheyenne on Sept. 4, improving to 8-0 overall and 5-0 in conference play.
The Braves had some dominant performances, including top player Jared Christen's decisive win in singles and a impressive doubles with brother, Matthew Christen. However, a handful of matches were close. In fact, there matches went to a super tie-break. The Braves won all three.
West Fargo Sheyenne will look to rebound against Century on September 5, while Mandan prepares to face Valley City on September 11.
