JAMESTOWN - Century secured a decisive victory over Jamestown on Sept. 8 at Bolinger Courts with a 9-0 sweep, improving to 1-2 in the Western Dakota Association and 6-3 overall. Jamestown remains winless at 0-3 in the conference and 0-9 overall.
Just one match went three sets as Century senior Ryan Mullally rallied from a set down to win in a super set tie-break over Jamestown sophomore Aden Oettle. The Pats looked sharp in its other singles matches and completed the sweep in doubles play.
Looking ahead, Century will face West Fargo, who are 0-2 overall, on September 11. Jamestown will aim for their first win against Minot, who are currently undefeated at 3-0 in the WDA and 9-0 overall, on September 10.
