Dickinson defeats Minot North, 3-1

DICKINSON - Dickinson netted three first half goals en route to a 3-1 WDA victory over visiting Minot North on Sept. 15.
Junior Amze Toure was instrumental for Dickinson, scoring twice in the first half. His goals helped the Mavericks establish a commanding lead early on. Sophomore Tyreek Kirlew opened the scoring eight minutes into the contest. Minot North's Anthony Winter Jr. provided a spark for his team with a goal in the 54th minute, but North couldn't get another one past Maverick keeper Paxtyn Paulson, who finsihed with 12 saves.
Looking ahead, Dickinson will face Jamestown (1-6-2 WDA, 1-6-2 overall) on September 18, while Minot North prepares to take on undefeated Minot (6-0-2 WDA, 6-0-2 overall) on September 17.
