WILLISTON - Williston's Ryan Serrano netted two goals later in the opening half and goalkeeper Tristan Boots did the rest as the Coyotes earned a 2-0 WDA win over Dickinson on Sept. 8 at WHS Legends Field. The victory was the Williston's second at home and it improved to 2-3-1 in the Western Dakota Association, while Dickinson fell to 1-4-1 in the conference and overall.

Boots stopped all seven shots to pick up his first shutout of the season. Paxtyn Paulson made seven stops for the Mavericks.

Williston will face a strong Minot team, currently 4-0 in conference play, on September 10. Dickinson will look to bounce back against Minot North, who holds a 3-2 conference record, on September 15.
