Century defeats Williston, 4-1

WILLISTON - Four 40 minutes, Williston kept Century's potent offense off the score sheet. Century changed that quickly in the second half. The Coyotes enjoyed a 1-0 lead on Dadie Kouao's goal at the 27th minute mark, but the Patriots would net two goals in the first eight minutes of the second half and add two more to earn a 4-1 WDA win on Sept. 19 afternoon at HS Legends Field. Century improved to 6-1-3 in the Western Dakota Association, while Williston fell to 2-6-2. Century leading scorer Cale McEvers was instrumental in the second half, scoring two pivotal goals. Teagan Schlichenmayer tied the game. Jace Eastgate also tallied a goal.
Century will next face Jamestown, who holds a 3-6 record, on September 22. Williston will look to bounce back against Dickinson on September 24.
