JAMESTOWN - Century scored a season-high eight goals and extended its win streak to three matches with a 8-0 win over Jamestown on September 1 at Jamestown Rotary Field. The Pats improve to 3-1 in the Western Dakota Association and overall. Jamestown (0-4-2), meanwhile, is still seeking its first win.
Cale McEvers led the Patriots with an impressive four-goal performance. Teagan Schlichenmeyer added two goals. Mason Hoskins and Charles Anderson chipped in with a goal each.
The Patriots took control early, netting three goals in a seven-minute span in the first half. This offensive burst set the tone for the remainder of the game. Keeper Brayden Linster stopped all four shots he faced to record the shutout.
Century will look to continue their winning streak against Mandan on September 3. Jamestown will aim for their first win against Mandan-St. Mary's on September 8.
