Minot defeats Bismarck, 6-4

BISMARCK - Minot High netted three goals over the final 10 minutes to break a 3-3 tie and earn a 6-4 WDA road win over Bismarck High at MDU Resources Community Bowl on Sept. 3. The victory keeps the Magi remained unbeaten at 4-0 in the WDA and overall. Bismarck's record now stands at 2-2 in the WDA and 3-2 overall.
Both teams showcased strong offensive performances in the first half, each netting three goals. BHS standout Camren Haase opened the scoring in the opening minutes. He added a second goal late in the match. Minot's Ethan Hanson was also a standout, scoring three goals, including two in the final 10 minutes of the second half, to lead his team to victory.
Minot will face Century (3-1 WDA, 3-1 overall) on September 8, while Bismarck is set to play Legacy (1-2 WDA, 1-2 overall) on the same day.
