WILLISTON - Jamestown swept Williston 3-0 in a conference matchup, improving to 2-0 in the WDA and 6-2 overall. Williston fell to 0-3 in the WDA and 1-8 overall.
Claire Iverson led the Blue Jays with 11 kills, showcasing Jamestown's offensive strength. Hannah Attleson was key in setting up the attack, recording 41 assists. The Blue Jays' defense was formidable with 13 blocks.
Williston's effort was highlighted by Averi Austreim, who contributed seven kills, while Rylee Irgens anchored the defense with 23 digs. Alex Austreim added 13 assists for the Coyotes.
Jamestown will face Legacy, who is also 2-0 in the WDA, on September 8. Williston will look to regroup against Minot, who holds a 1-1 WDA record, also on September 8.
