Jamestown defeats Dickinson, 3-0

DICKINSON - Jamestown flexed its muscle at the net, collecting 38 kills and seven blocks en route to a 3-0 win at Dickinson on Sept. 10. The Blue Jays are just one of two WDA teams unbeaten,improving their record to 4-0 in the Western Dakota Association and 8-2 overall. Dickinson fell to 0-4 in the conference and 1-9 overall.
Lucy Falk had a match-best 15 kills along with nine digs and three aces. Hannah Attleson set up the offense with 27 assists. She also finished with nine digs as did Amelia Newman. Dickinson's Claire Rodakowski and Emily Grinsteiner both had six kills. Ava Hauck had a strong came in the back row with 10 digs.
Looking ahead, Jamestown will face Bismarck, who holds a 3-1 conference record and 8-2 overall, on September 22. Dickinson will aim to bounce back in their next match against Mandan, currently 1-2 in the WDA and 5-4 overall, on September 15.
