Watford City defeats Williston, 42-20

WILLISTON - Watford City earned its second win of the season, and second-straight big offensive night by running back Rhylie Ledahl-Berger. He rushed for an impressive 259 yards and two scores in the 42-20 Wolves' triumph over neighboring Williston on Sept. 11 at WHS Legends Field.
Watford City rushed for 494 yards and jumped out to a 14-7 lead after one quarter on TD runs by Ledahl-Berger and Trysten DeVries. The lead was extended to 28-14 at the half. Two more scores in the final quarter put the finishing touches on Watford City's second win over the Coyotes in two seasons. Williston got some good performances as well. Quarterback Noah Rath racked up 256 yards of passing and touchdown passes going to Leo Kendor and Nathaniel Walker.
Watford City will face Grand Forks Central, who holds a 2-1 record, on September 18. Williston looks ahead to a matchup against Grand Forks Red River, currently 0-2, on the same date.
