FARGO - Legacy put together its most impressive win so far this season, defeating top-ranked Fargo Davies on the road, 33-17, on Sept. 11 at Fargo Davies Field.

The Sabers outscored Davies 19-8 in the second half to pull away and improve to 3-0 on the season. Beckham Presley-McKay was the offensive leader, scoring four rushing TDs and racking up 171 yards on 26 carries. Quarterback Weston Kraft also had a big performance, rushing for 119 yards and getting the final TD run. Legacy finished with 357 yards rushing, all but 12 coming on the ground. Davies, which is known as a ground-gaining team, also generate over 350 yareds running. Talen Tuchscherer ran for two scores.

The Eagles led 7-0 and 9-7 in the second quarter before Legacy grabbed the lead for good. The win was Legacy's second straight over the defending AAA champions.

Legacy will close out the non-conference portion of its schedule when it facesWest Fargo (1-2 overall) on September 18, while Fargo Davies prepares to meet Bismarck (3-0 overall) on the same day.
