Girls Cross Country: Anderson-Stavn Invite
Event Recap
BISMARCK - Century captured the title at the annual Anderson-Stavn Invite on Sept. 12 at McDowell Dam Rec. Area, east of Bismarck. The Patriots took top the three individual placers, including Ruby Imhels. The senior finished the 5,000 meter course in a time of 17:31. Audrey Echlebarger was runner-up and Summer Olson placed third.
In the team standings, WF Sheyenne finished second with 99 points, followed closely by Fargo Davies at 104 points. Minot High placed fourth with a score of 153, while Legacy, Dickinson, Bismarck High, West Fargo, Sidney, MT, New Town, and Minot North rounded out the field.
The meet featured 119 runners and provided ideal racing conditions. The McDowell Dam course is set to host the upcoming WDA Championships.
