Boys Cross Country: Rusty Bucket
Event Recap
BISMARCK - Century claimed victory of the annual run for the Rusty Bucket on Aug. 28 at McDowell Dam Recreation Area. The Pats' score of 19 was well ahead of runner-up Bismarck High. Mandan was third and Legacy was fourth. Conditions were a bit muggy.
Jack Elsberry of Century was the individual winner, finishing the 5,000-meter race in 16:13. Cooper Eberle from Bismarck High followed closely in second with a time of 16:24. Other notable finishers included Hudsen Bullinger, Hayden Anderson, and Eli Eberts, all from Century. The course will also host the Anderson-Stavn Invite on Sept. 12 and the WDA Championships on Oct. 10.
